I’d already given an overview of the Git workflow in the translated article Introduction to Git for Designers, written by an American designer.
To continue learning Git, I thought it would be interesting to translate a tutorial that was simple, and I ended up choosing this one:
Tutorial: Git for Designers
Along with the translation, I added some notes to make learning as intuitive as possible.
My goals with these translations are:
- To learn Git’s basic commands.
- To show an approach to Git that’s not as dense as the ones written for programmers—something that can be recommended to design teams or to programmers who have never used version control systems.
